Toby Gard working on new Tomb Raider Title?
 June 18th, 2009

Toby Gard, creator of Lara Croft in 1996, has revealed through his LinkedIn account, his new job is a Lead Designer at game development studio Crystal Dynamics from Eidos, a wholly owned subsidiary of Square Enix Holding.

Gard's position started in the beginning of this year and will lead a design group for an unannounced project at Crystal Dynamics.

Earlier this week, we reported that Crystal Dynamics were hiring new staff on one of the most prestigious AAA franchises in the industry, including Senior Art Director and Producer.

All this news is leading to speculation that the AAA project in question will be the upcoming Tomb Raider 9 video game.

More to come in the future.
